Police are investigating after two women were allegedly stabbed in separate incidents within approximately 24 hours in Frankston, Victoria, leading to the arrest of a 27-year-old man.

According to police, the first incident occurred on August 16 at about 1:15 p.m. on Young Street. A 53-year-old woman from Skye was allegedly struck from behind with a sharp implement while walking along the street.
